Do you remember the large, water-filled area in the alley behind Lautherbach? Have you noticed that it's gone? It went just a few days after John Barrett of Team A patrolled that alley and said "That's not the way it's supposed to be."
After that success, Capt. Winnie appointed John the Pothole King. In April, John (and the helpful people who work at Public Works, notably Robert Dunn, the Operations Administrator) took care of the following problems:
- Uneven place at Bellevue and Brook
- Pothole on Clinton
- Deep base repair to pavement on Mount Vernon
- Alley on the odd side of 1300 and 1400 Avondale
- Potholes in 1200 Windsor and 1400 Bellevue
- Base repair on Westbrook one block west of Chamberlayne
- Base repair on Westminster two blocks west of Chamberlayne
